Ryan Reeves is a Professor of Historical Theology at the Jacksonville campus of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Per his specialty, Reeves' YouTube channel focuses on the history of Christianity and its develops, of why things came to be, covering from the Greco-Roman world to the black church during the Civil Rights Movement. His videos are long, ranging between 20 to 30 minutes and is nothing flashy, so for some, it may be difficult to stay tuned. In addition, he seems to, at times, view history through an evangelical lens, all that to say that there may be some historical bias, which is expected and he seems to keep it to a minimum. Personally for me, I find him and the content very engaging and interesting. My only wish is that he explores the development and history of Christianity in other parts of the world such as China and Ethiopia, rather than solely focusing on Europe and the U.S. Unfortunately, he hasn't uploaded any new content for about 2 years so that may not be a possibility. Nevertheless, I highly recommend his channel.
